Cookies

WHAT ARE COOKIES?
Cookies are small text strings which are sent to the terminal of the User (usually the browser) by the sites visited by the User himself, where they are stored before being re-transmitted to the same sites at the next visit of the same user.

In implementation of the provisions contained in the Directive 2009/136/EC, the legislator brought back the obligation to obtain the preventive and informed consent of Users to the installation of cookies used for purposes different from purely technical ones (see Article 1, paragraph 5, letter a), of Legislative Decree 28 May 2012, n. 69, which amended the art. 122 of the Privacy Code).

In this regard, two macro-categories are identified: “technical” cookies and “profiling” cookies.

There are also cookies installed by a person different from the Holder/manager of the site (so-called “third parties”). This site does not use this kind of cookies.

TECHNICAL COOKIES
Technical cookies are those used for the sole purpose of “transmitting a communication over an electronic communication network, or to the extent strictly necessary for the provider of an information society service explicitly requested by the Subscriber or User to provide this service “(see Article 122, paragraph 1, of the Privacy Code).

They can be further divided into:
– navigation or session cookies, which guarantee the normal navigation and use of the website;
– analytics cookies, similar to technical cookies when used directly by the site operator to collect information, in aggregate form, on the number of users and how they visit the site.

For the installation of these cookies the prior consent of users is not required, while the obligation to provide information pursuant to art. 13 of the Code still remains.

PROFILING COOKIES

Profiling cookies are designed to create profiles related to the User. They are used in order to send advertising messages in line with the preferences expressed by the same in the context of surfing on the web.

This site does not use this kind of cookies.

CONTROL OF COOKIES

Most browsers allow some control of most cookies through the settings of the browser itself. If you do not wish to receive any type of cookie on your computer, you can increase the privacy protection level of your browser by using the appropriate function.

Google Analytics COOKIES

The Google Analytics tool collects information anonymously and records website trends without identifying individual visitors. Browsers do not share the Google Analytics tool’s proprietary cookies among various domains. Google Analytics does not report information about the actual IP addresses of visitors. Because of the use of a method known as IP masking, Google Analytics communicates information so that only a portion of the IP address for geolocation is used, rather than the entire address. You can download the browser add-on to disable Google Analytics. The add-in communicates to the Google Analytics JavaScript code (ga.js) to indicate that information about visiting the website should not be sent to Google Analytics. The browser add-on for deactivating Google Analytics does not prevent information from being sent to the website itself.

Cookie settings

You can decide to allow or not the setting of cookies on your computer, but this website works optimally with all types of cookies enabled. The settings related to cookies can be controlled and modified by the browser “Preferences”.

Please select the browser you are using from the list below for information on how to change your cookie settings.

If you disable cookies, this may result in the disabling of some features of the site. Even with all cookies disabled, your browser will continue to store a small amount of information. This information is necessary for the basic functionality of the site.
