Users are tired of being bombarded with advertisements<\/strong>, how do we know this?<\/p>\n

Because, if it weren’t the case, the use of Ad Blocker extensions wouldn’t be increasing month by month.<\/p>\n

According to an analysis by Global Web Index<\/a>, condotta sugli utenti nel 2015, conducted on users in 2015, the adoption of services capable of blocking ads during browsing grew<\/strong> quarter by quarter; in particular, the biggest peak was in the last period of the year, when Ad blocking services went from being adopted by 28% to 38% of internet surfers.<\/p>\n

The most active in blocking ads?<\/strong> None other than young people aged 16 to 24; digital natives<\/strong>, those who grew up surrounded by technology and are able to find solutions to any problem on the internet.<\/p>\n

Publishers and advertisers are looking for methods to still get their messages across. According to Google, it all comes down to understanding why users block the ads that appear.<\/p>\n

After all, some ads are really annoying and intrusive<\/strong>, appearing suddenly, hiding the X that allows them to be closed, and denying other options besides clicking on the link to the advertiser’s site; all this pushes a user to find solutions that block any type of advertising content.<\/p>\n
