For the Mountain View giant, it might be a small amount, but according to an Oracle lawyer during a hearing on January 14, it seems that keeping the Google search bar on Apple devices cost them a billion dollars<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Rumors of an agreement between the two companies are not new, but the numbers on which this deal is based have never been confirmed. However, according to a court transcript, it is evident that Google is investing to ensure that Apple users continue to use its search engine<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

In summary, Apple economically benefits from Google’s advertising model, despite officially accusing it of privacy violations.<\/p>\n

According to Bloomberg<\/a>, the agreement between The Big G and Apple means that the company led by Tim Cook recognizes a percentage of the revenue from traffic coming from iOS devices. Although the figures are unofficial, the revenue share is around 34%.<\/p>\n
